Flight Departures at Salento Airport

Salento Airport has one single terminal divided into two levels with the departures area mostly located on the upper level. A few things might be good to know before the departing flight takes place or before arriving at the airport for the departure.

Parking at Brindisi Airport

The airport has a total of 736 parking spaces divided into two outdoors and open air parking lots. P1 is the largest of them with 599 parking spaces and it is located right in front of the airport terminal. The smaller lot, P9, is located a short walk from the terminal and it has 137 spaces in total. Both offer disabled parking spaces, and if they are all occupied there are alternative solutions. Transfers at Brindisi Airport

Rental Cars – The rental car companies at Brindisi Airport are located in the arrivals area of the terminal. To return a rented vehicle, please follow the instructions given by the car rental company. Remember to retrieve all personal belongings from the vehicle before returning it to the car rental dealer.

Buses – An airport shuttle bus service connects the airport with central Brindisi, including Brindisi Railway Station, and Costa Morena Harbor. The shuttles run approximately every 30-45 minutes and tickets can be purchased on board the bus or at select sellers. The early morning and late evening departures do not include Costa Morena. Taxis – Any taxi may take travelers to the airport for their departure. Ask your hotel to order one or catch one at one of the many taxi ranks found in Brindisi.

RideShares – RideShare transfers are requested through the rideshare company’s smartphone application.

The airport follows the regulations for airport assistance for persons with reduced mobility (PRM) or special needs. This is requested through the airline, preferably at least 48 hours ahead of the scheduled departure time. It is however possible to ask for assistance once at the airport, either at the Information Point positioned at the entrance of Sala Amica or at Sala Amica directly.

Fast Track at Brindisi Airport

All passengers can purchase a Fastrak pass and go through the quicker line of security control. Tickets can be purchased online, directly at the airport ticket office or at the automatic till called “fly cash” that is located in the vicinity of the security checks on the lower level of the terminal.
