How to get to Salento Airport by Bus

When arriving at Brindisi Airport, please remember to collect your entire luggage before proceeding to exit the terminal’s arrivals area to locate your chosen means of transfer. Available options of transfer from or to the airport are rental cars, taxis and buses.

Buses at Brindisi Airport

There are different variations of buses that serve the airport on a regular basis. Regular does not necessarily mean daily so make sure to check the current time schedule or website for the company providing the route you are looking at.

Public Buses at Brindisi Airport

STP Brindisi is the company that provides a bus connection between Salento Airport and Brindisi Town Center, where it stops the Railway Station and Via del Mare/Piazza Capitanerie di Porto, as well as the extended route that also includes Costa Morena Harbor, the dock for tourist ferries and boats.

The route is circular with the terminus at the airport and buses depart with a frequency of every 30-45 minutes from 5.30 AM to 11.45 PM every day. Early mornings and late evenings see longer frequency between departures while the bulk part of the day sees the shorter.

The early morning departures (5.30 AM - 7.45 AM) and late evening departures (9.15 PM -11.45 PM) stop at the Railway Station in Brindisi, while departures in between those two time periods provide the extended route that includes Costa Morena.

The journey between the airport and the Railway Station takes approximately 10-15 minutes while it will take 30 minutes from the airport to Costa Morena.

Tickets are 1.50€ when purchased on board the bus and 1.00€ when purchased at an authorized retailer. Bus tickets in the airport are sold by Giunti bookshop.

Airbus at Brindisi Airport

Pugliairbus provides a shuttle service that connects the Brindisi, Foggia and Bari Airports with each other. It also connects Bari Airport with Rodi-Peschici, Taranto, and Matera (a UNESCO World Heritage Site).
